Menthol Hill was a Los Angeles-based band from 1995 to 2002, formed by Eric Forst, Brian Glascock, John Connors and Kedron Parker. When the band wasn't busy recording on its 4-track in a closet, they could be found out back, watching haze float down El Sereno hills. Lorenzo Buhne would be busy at the board, polishing the sound. Over the course of eleven-hundred beers and 12 different line-ups, the band played at Mr. T's, Al's Bar, Spaceland, and the Silver Lake Lounge. Members included Mark Mastopietro, Jeff Kettle, Craig Manrique, Sheri Ozeki, Denise Bonis and Lisa Nardoni.

Eric Forst plays in Jakarta Skyscraper and also played in The Frogs and Frances Gumm. He holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts. His poems have appeared in The Baffler and Conduit. He's married, has two kids and a career in marketing. In Menthol Hill, Eric sang and played guitar.

Kedron Parker is a New Zealand-based singer/songwriter who hails from Virginia. Kedron went to school in Athens, Georgia where she used to jam with Elf Power. While living in Los Angeles, Kedron played bass for the Kids of Widney High. Kedron is married, raising a family and working for a radio station in Wellington.
